Alpenflage
S06E02 - Martina Lussi & Le Frère

Alpenflage checks the pulse of the Swiss underground and reports back. This month: Martina Lussi and Le Frère
In this episode, we sit down with Lucerne-based artist Martina Lussi whose body of work includes numerous sound installations, performances at Café OTO in London or LUFF in Lausanne, and releases on labels such as Praesens Editionen and Hallow Ground - together we explore the concepts behind her recently released Selected Ambient EP. Later on in the show we visit Zurich to get to know Le Frère aka Georg Munz, the DJ, cultural activist, and co-founder of label Light of Other Days whose debut solo EP Slow Glass is coming out on March 5th. We premiere songs from the EP and talk with Georg about inspirations, traveling, Swiss music and more. Also on the menu: new music by Bit-Tuner and RBMA alumni Lemonick and Krizzli, plus a Swiss classic from 1977 recently reissued on vinyl by Holywax Records!
