A key figure in the burgeoning Northern Irish house music scene, Timmy Stewart delivers an Alumni Mix of sparkling upbeat belters.
Northern Irish DJ Timmy Stewart got his first break in DJing when he was 18 years old, warming up for none other than Carl Cox. Not long after, he began a residency at David Holmes’ influential Art College monthlies, where he developed a reputation for his programming, and planted the seeds for his future endeavors: He founded popular Belfast parties Digital Boogie, Tsunami, Islandhopper, Keep Diggin’ and the Night Institute. He’s remixed artists such as Andrew Weatherall and Xpress 2, had material featured on albums for Trax and Strictly Rhythm, collaborated with vocalists Robert Owens and Abe Duque and is cofounder of the Extended Play label and the crate-digging DJ and production duo Black Bones. Between his weekly residency at the Night Institute, his To the Bone online radio show, guest bookings and role with house and techno festival AVA, Timmy Stewart is one of the busiest DJs on the Northern Irish scene.
