Puerto Rico’s trailblazing reggaetónera explores female empowerment in the field of música urbana, in conversation with industry experts.

Amongst her many nicknames and honorifics, Ivy Queen is perhaps best known as “The Queen of Reggaeton.” Born in Añasco, Puerto Rico, and raised in both San Juan and New York, she has been a fundamental contributor to the genre’s evolution and ascent. On this special edition of the show, recorded in front of a live audience at Ball & Chain in Miami, Riobamba and Uproot Andy lead a discussion with Queen to reflect upon her trailblazing career. They’re joined by Leila Cobo, Bilboard‘s executive director of Latin content and programming, and Janel Martinez, the editor-in-chief and creator of Ain’t I Latina.
