The LA-via-Newark hip-hop/hardcore duo recruit host Zack Fox into the Triple 9 Death Kult.
Coming up in northern New Jersey’s industrial corridor, Ho99o9’s Eaddy and the OGM filled up tapes with Hot 97 broadcasts of Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, Busta Rhymes, Onyx, Lil Jon and Missy Elliot. From their first singles — 2014’s “Casey Jones/Cum Rag” and “Bone Collector” — Ho99o9 has been pushing the limits of the genre, veering from punk to hip-hop to hardcore and back again. Before they head out on tour with Marilyn Manson, Eaddy and the OGM sit down with host Zack Fox to chop it up about life on the other side of the mosh pit, expanding intersectional punk rap beyond Afropunk and their dreams of a second career as voiceover actors for cartoons. It’s about to get weird.
