Max Glazer sails down Hope River with Agent Sasco to talk about his next LP and the studio he built to record it.

Jamaica’s genre-bending lyrical assassin Agent Sasco has been in the game for 18 years, effortlessly floating between dancehall, hip-hop and reggae sounds. Even if you hadn’t followed his rise in the dancehall ranks in the early ’00s as Assassin, you may have heard his star turns on Kanye West’s “I’m In It” or Kendrick Lamar’s “The Blacker the Berry.” As he celebrates the release of his fourth studio LP, Hope River, Agent Sasco joins Max Glazer in our Manhattan studio. He’ll be dropping fresh freestyles and talking about new directions, learning to produce his own music and opening his new home base, Diamond Studios, where he recorded the majority of Hope River.
