From Bounty Killer to Beenie Man, from Cologne to Coney Island, dancehall and reggae authority Max Glazer serves up only the freshest cuts.

Every week on The Federation Sound, Max Glazer guides listeners through the music of the Jamaican diaspora, taking us to the far corners of the world to which it reaches and bringing it back home to the island. This week he explores the history of Bounty Killer’s “Spy Fi Die,” the answer riddim that lifted his feud with Beenie Man to new heights, plays a Movado dubplate recorded in his basement in Brooklyn, and recaps a wild weekend of shows in Brooklyn with Kranium, Kabaka Pyramid, and Barrington Levy.
