The Grammy-nominated reggae band discusses American vs. Jamaican fans, the Wickie Wackie Festival and upcoming album.

Jamaican five-piece Raging Fyah started their Wickie Wackie Live concerts in 2009 as a monthly showcase for the burgeoning reggae revival movement. After hosting then-rising talents Jah9, Jesse Royal, Kabaka Pyramid and Chronixx, the gathering developed into a fully fledged annual music festival in 2011 — that was the same year Raging Fyah released their debut album Judgment Day and established the band as a touring heavyweight alongside acts like UB40 and Tribal Seeds. Seven years and a Grammy nomination (for their 2016 LP Everlasting) later, they join Max Glazer in the studio to preview their next project and discuss the festival’s widespread influence.
