Two accomplished reggae and dancehall artists join host Max Glazer for an interview celebrating their new album together.
On this week’s episode of the Federation Sound, we get blessed with another visit from Red Fox and Screechy Dan, this time toasting to the release of their latest full length album, Reset. Both artists migrated from Jamaica to New York in the mid-’80s, and were instrumental in shaping the reggae and dancehall scenes both in New York and internationally. Over their 30-plus years working, the two have collaborated on more than a few cuts, but this release brings them together for the first time for a full album, which was crafted and created with the producer Patexx. The album is a reflection on how far they have both come, together and separately, musically and personally. Tune in and listen up to hear all about the new record and their individual and collective histories in music.
