Jamaican producer Bulby York drops by to jump in the mix, kick it with Max Glazer, and school us on his sophomore LP Master Blaster.

Collin “Bulby” Youkat—aka Bulby York—is the prolific Kingston-based producer responsible for classic cuts like Beenie Man’s “Stop Live in a Di Pass” and Bounty Killer’s “Stucky.” His Fat Eyes crew would go on to pop stardom with their work on Sean Paul’s Dutty Rock, but eventually Youkat would look to take dancehall to new places, drawing inspiration from the pop EDM of David Guetta and Calvin Harris on his 2016 debut Epic & Ting. On this week’s episode of The Federation Sound, Youkat drops by the studio to jump in the mix with Max Glazer and drop the scoop on his new 11-track LP Master Blaster, the lead single “Lots of Signs” (a take on the Tenor Saw classic), and what else he’s got lined up for 2018.
