Live from New York City, host Max Glazer sits down with the legendary dancehall artist to chat about his career and new album.

Where does one start with the career and life of Shaggy? For starters, Shaggy has made some of the most internationally recognizable dancehall and reggae songs of all time. Shaggy, AKA Orville Richard Burrell, was born and raised in Kingston, Jamaica, and moved to Brooklyn in his teens. He ultimately locked down his first record deal after serving for years in the US Marines. To date, the artist has had two number one singles, seven albums on the Billboard 200 and sold over 30 million records. His recent accomplishments include a Grammy-winning joint album with Sting, 44/876. We had Sting and Shaggy on the show back in 2018, but on this episode of the Federation Sound host Max Glazer will sit down with Shaggy solo to talk about his latest album, Wah Gwaan? The album reflects Shaggy’s most personal work to date and features a whole gang of collaborators. Tune in to hear stories of his career and hear all about the record from the man himself.
