The rising London MC stops by Copenhagen for his Danish debut, plus a set by the next-gen South London grime hero.

Yxng Bane grew up in East London and got his big break last year when he released a viral dancehall remix of Ed Sheeran’s hit single “Shape of You.” Since then he’s been winning over the hearts of rap fans in the UK and beyond. In this episode, at his first show in Denmark, he’s greeted by an ecstatic crowd shouting and singing along. Also appearing at Distortion is South London grime artist Novelist, started making waves in pirate radio around 2013 and was featured in a BBC Radio 1Xtra documentary broadcast titled Grime mums that same year, when he was just 16 years old. In the years that followed he’s become one of Grime’s hottest break-out acts, releasing his debut album Novelist Guy earlier this year.
