The Berlin-based DJ and Correspondant founder blends stripped-down house with jackin’ techno.
Jennifer Cardini had already spent the better part of the ’90s spreading her deep appreciation for the sounds of Chicago, Detroit and Cologne, with residencies at Le Pulp and Rex Club in Paris. Always at the forefront of electronic music, Cardini was among the first to latch on to the distinctly German sound that came to be known as minimal. Though her label Correspondant remains in Cologne, Cardini has found a permanent home in Berlin, where she’s regularly found behind the decks at techno institution Berghain. In this session, the jet-setting selector stops by Munich to perform a headlining slot at Blitz.
