Kenny Ken & The Ragga Twins at fabric
The jungle pioneers bring their expertise of three decades of bass and breaks to the London club.
Kenny Ken is a legend of jungle and drum & bass. Inspired by the wave of acid house washing over the UK, he started DJing in 1989 during the warehouse party era. After winning the inaugural Jungle Sound Clash in 1994, he went on to provide a platform for drum & bass producers by way of his Mix & Blen’ imprint for the next two decades. The Ragga Twins formed in 1990 when Flinty and Deman hooked up with Shut Up And Dance – two producers/rappers who were doing very well on the hardcore scene, resulting in their subsequent collabo album Reggae Owes Me Money. The Ragga Twins have continued to evolve with the times, working with breakbeat producers like Aquasky and DeeKline and they are still in constant demand to perform at parties and raves across Europe. In this session, the duo and Kenny Ken come together for an epic set at the fabriclive Carnival Special.
