The figurehead of Australia’s dance music scene slams out high-energy club heaters and bass selections at The Blast’s Halloween party.
Nina Las Vegas has become one of the most influential figures in the Australian music scene. As a label head, producer and DJ, she has dedicated herself to promoting and celebrating the sounds of underground dance music from both Australia and abroad. A host and programmer on triple j for 10 years, she currently has a residency on the BBC Radio One show Diplo and Friends, and has a monthly show on Red Bull Radio called Collect All and Rave. In November 2015 she started her own label, NLV Records, showcasing her commitment to and championing of eclectic and essential underground sounds. NLV Records has released music by Swick, Strict Face, Air Max ’97, Lewis Cancut, Uniiqu3 and Hi Tom, as well as Nina Las Vegas’s own debut EP, EZY or Never. Her work ethic and eclectic taste makes her one of the most exciting music activists around. In this session, she fires up her signature style of bass-laden, high-octane club mixing.
