The Sound Pellegrino head honcho and Parisian hip-hop legend draws a slick selection of cutting-edge bass.

Julien Pradeyrol, AKA Teki Latex, is a progressive presence in the French electronic music scene, both on the mic and behind the decks. He got his start as an MC in Parisian hip-hop act TTC, comprised of Teki and collaborators DJ Orgasmic and Para One. Coinciding with the dissolution of TTC, Teki cofounded the influential Institubes label, releasing maximalist collisions of electronic music and hip-hop. Though Institubes folded in 2011, the victim of economic circumstances, Teki continued pushing his genreless vision via Sound Pellegrino, (in partnership with Orgasmic), operating as a clearing house for club tunes that attempt to bridge scenes geographically and musically. While Sound Pellegrino continues to release mutated party-starters, Teki has stayed busy as the selector for the Paris arm of vogue legends House of Ninja and hosting a weekly DJ television program, Overdrive Infinity. In this session, he performs as part of the Bass Union event at the Red Bull Music Festival in Berlin.
