We revisit interviews with Dean Hurley, Brian Reitzell, Hildur Guðnadóttir, Arnaud Rebotini and S U R V I V E.

On today’s Peak Time we’ll listen back to conversations with the composers and music supervisors shaping the aural aesthetic of today’s underground films and television series. We’ll hear from Dean Hurley, the music supervisor to the reboot of David Lynch’s classic Twin Peaks; Brian Reitzell, Sofia Coppola’s longtime collaborator and composer of her films The Virgin Suicides, Lost In Translation and Marie Antoinette; Hildur Guðnadóttir, the Icelandic cellist whose eerie compositions have soundtracked films like Sicario, Arrival and The Revenant; Arnaud Rebotini, the Parisian techno producer who scored the underground hit 120 Battements Par Minute; and lastly, S U R V I V E, the Texan foursome responsible for the spacey New Wave synth sounds of Stranger Things.
