We dive into an hour of foundational riddims of the early digital era, including Prince Jammy and Mad Professor.

This month on Preset, Todd Osborn takes us beyond Sleng Teng and digs out a selection of foundational riddims from Jamaica’s early digital era. In the ’80s, musicians and producers started to switch out live instruments for Yamahas and Casios, as demonstrated over the next hour with tracks from Tenor Saw, Pad Anthony, Prince Jammy, Tenastelin, Mad Professor, Supercat and many more.
