Seasoned UK techno and acid house duo Posthuman deliver a fine selection of tracks, from Peggy Gou to Funkineven.

With a long-time party and radio show, both called I Love Acid, it would be fair to call cousins Rich Bevan and Josh Doherty, AKA DJ and production duo Posthuman, seasoned advocates for the acid house sound. Since the mid-2000s, they’ve been representing the sound in its myriad and mutating forms at parties in their native London and across Europe, and on the bass-focused online radio station, Sub.fm. This mix makes it clear that Posthuman are the men in the know for not only the old school styles, but the newest offerings from a slew of producers who are influenced by acid house: from younger, prominent talent such as Peggy Gou and Steven Julien (formerly known as Funkineven) as well as underground peers and their own productions, too. Prepare to have your brainwaves warped.
